Don’t miss Canterbury Voices’ encore performance of Eugene Goossens’ arrangement of Handel’s masterwork, Messiah! In 2017, thousands took in the lush arrangement featuring a full orchestra, with two harps, four horns, and a full wind section from the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, in addition to Canterbury’s choir of over 160 voices.
Because of that concert’s massive success, Canterbury presented this again in 2019. In this grandiose arrangement, the stage is full of musicians and the impact is unforgettable. Whether it’s the gentle melody of the opening words “Comfort ye”, or the sheer invigorating “Hallelujah” chorus, this concert will be inspiring!
Soloists: Autumn West, soprano Rebekah Ambrosini, contralto Jeffrey Picon, tenor Thomas Cannon, bass
