Don’t miss Canterbury Voices’ encore performance of Eugene Goossens’ arrangement of Handel’s masterwork, Messiah! In 2017, thousands took in the lush arrangement featuring a full orchestra, with two harps, four horns, and a full wind section from the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, in addition to Canterbury’s choir of over 160 voices.
Because of that concert’s massive success, Canterbury is presenting it again in 2019. In this grandiose arrangement, the stage is full of musicians and the impact is unforgettable. Whether it’s the gentle melody of the opening words “Comfort ye”, or the sheer invigorating “Hallelujah” chorus, this concert will be inspiring!
Soloists: Autumn West, soprano Rebekah Ambrosini, contralto Jeffrey Picon, tenor Thomas Cannon, bass

Canterbury will host its annual Holiday Reception after the concert in the Civic Center lobby. The reception includes home-baked holiday cookies from our adult chorus and punch.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be in attendance for photos!
