Soprano Emily Wilkinson first performed with Canterbury Voices in 2009 as a student at Oklahoma City University, and joined the organization in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Masters in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University. Outside of her time with the large adult chorus, Emily is an avid church musician and also performs with the Canterbury Chamber Voices.
In May 2021, she was a featured soloist in the World Premiere Of Perpetual Solace by Dr. Edward Knight and MJ Alexander, commissioned by Canterbury Voices for the 25th Anniversary of the Murrah Building Bombing. In October of 2021, she was a soloist in Dan Forrest’s Jubilate Deo. In May of 2022, Wilkinson performed in Crescendo, presented by the Canterbury Chamber Voices at the Oklahoma History Center. She is especially grateful for the leadership and friendship of Dr. Randi von Ellefson and to be part of tonight’s celebration of his distinguished tenure as the artistic director
