Eric Hamilton is excited to be a part of Canterbury Voices’ spring concert event, To Hope! A lyric tenor who studied vocal performance and vocal music education at the University of Oklahoma, Eric resides in Edmond, with his wife, Amanda, and 2 year old daughter, Eleanor.
Having spent 7 years as a middle school choir director in Del City and Edmond, Eric now works professionally in the mortgage industry. This is Eric’s 6th season to sing with Canterbury Voices, and he is grateful for the many incredible musical experiences he has shared under the baton of Dr. Randi Ellefson. His previous solo opportunities with Canterbury include singing Brindisi, from La Traviata, at the inaugural Crescendo concert event in 2022, and singing the tenor solo for the 2021 world premiere of Of Perpetual Solace, by Dr. Edward Knight, with libretto by M.J. Alexander, commemorating the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P Murrah building. Eric, Amanda, and Eleanor attend Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond, where they are active in the worship and young adults ministries.
