Scott Guthrie is thrilled to return to the CCMH stage and to Canterbury Voices. Scott was last seen as the Celebrant in the Bernstein: MASS, as a co-production with Canterbury Voices and Oklahoma City University. Scott is an actor, singer, director, and educator. He has previously served on the faculties at Rider University in New Jersey, University of the Arts in Philadelphia, University of Central Oklahoma, and is currently Visiting Assistant Professor of Applied Theatre at Oklahoma City University. Scott spent many years as a professional actor and singer, performing all across the country. Some favorite roles include Billy Bigelow in Carousel, Zach in A Chorus Line, Trevor Graydon in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Robert “Bud” Johnson in The Bridges of Madison County, and Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Scott earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music from Oklahoma City University and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Directing from the University of Idaho. Scott recently relocated to Oklahoma City after almost 20 years on the east coast in New York City and Philadelphia. He lives with his wife Lindsie, son Jed, french bulldog Mavis, and Moira Rose, the bunny. Thank you to Canterbury Voices and Pam Mowry for the opportunity. Very grateful to have another experience with Randi before his retirement! He dedicates this performance to the memory of his beloved teacher, Florence Birdwell.
