Unchanged voices, Grades 2-3
Singers learn appropriate repertoire and musical literacy skills in Prelude, grades 2-3. Instructional goals include giving each child the necessary skills for a lifelong appreciation of choral singing. Prelude rehearses Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30 PM.
In Prelude, students:
- Appear regularly on CYV concerts
- Receive a strong Kodály Method* of musical literacy and choral performance skills.
* Studies have shown that the Kodály Method helps students receive a strong background in musical literacy and choral performance through a variety of methods and approaches.
