Canterbury Voices Audition Information:
• Each person will sing a piece of their own choosing. This can be a folk tune, hymn, art song, aria or classical musical theatre piece. If you prepare a hymn for the audition and you sing a part besides soprano, please be prepared to sing the melody as well as your own part (alto, tenor or bass).
• Auditions must be accompanied. A professional accompanist is provided. Please bring a copy of music for the accompanist. Time restraints may mean that you may not sing through your entire song. You may also be asked to do simple vocalizing to determine vocal range.
